Hi there!

I’m back in Miami for work and loving the weather as always. We shot some photos in my current obsession dress: Spell Designs’ “City Lights Maxi.” I love that it’s bohemian, floral, has ruffles and tassels (see the back of the dress photo above), and super comfortable. It also transitions from day into night beautifully depending on the styling (throw on a wedge a night bag and some accessories to dress it up or wear it to the beach with flip flops and no makeup: it works so well either way). I’m also loving this handmade straw bag from one of my favorite stores in Chelsea Market NYC: the Moroccan imports store. The owner is lovely and his imports are beautiful and affordable!

Tassels, ruffles, florals, color, boho, straw bags and more are all in this season and I’m loving all those trends!

Hi there!

On a recent work trip to Miami where I took a couple days off to hit the beach, I wore my Spell Designs Sayulita frill gown that I’m completely obsessed with for spring. There are so many ways to wear a bohemian maxi dress this spring. Casual is how I styled it this time with my Aldo gold sandals and vintage Chanel yellow bucket bag and messy wavy hair. However, you could always go a more formal route with wedges or a chunky platform heel and a scarf or jacket and hair more formally curled to give it a night look, and more dramatic makeup.

These colors pop, and fun vibrant colors are always in for spring as are florals, frills, and boho chic!

Hi there!

I can’t believe the beautiful warm weather in NY this weekend, we have been needing this sunshine. It brings me back to my Mexico resort vacation recently and this Nectar Clothing romper ensemble I put together that I can’t wait to re-wear this spring. I styled this fun boho bell sleeve romper with oldie but goodie Aldo gold sandals and my vintage 1920s gold clam shell purse. The starfish necklace and earrings are from JCrew accessories (unfortunately not a recent buy/collab but they do sea-themed jewelry often as does Lilly Pulitzer and more). The belt is 12th Tribe.

Enjoy the Spring air and throw on a fun romper to celebrate! Prints are really in right now and I’m always drawn to a boho ensemble:)

Spring Overall Trend!

Hi there!

As Winter slowly draws to a close I love finding ways to incorporate a Spring look with layers so I’m still season-appropriate for winter. One trend I have been wanting to style lately is the overall look.

These overalls (a steal on sale currently at Topshop!!) are with a skirt which is so fun and flirty, and the black velvet with little flowers allows it to be worn in different seasons plus the flowers are looking forward to spring. Because I was in the Catskills last weekend going to a meditation retreat, I photographed this with the winter landscape as the contrast with my bright Zara turtleneck added a fun pop of color to the snowy landscape. I finished the look with black leggings and my new black buckled moto boots I found at a little boutique while in Paris recently. These boots can be found on so many sites and in so many stores right now, they are right on trend! I even witnessed my fave (she’s also Brazilian) fashion blogger sporting Givenchy identical ones on her way to Paris Fashion week yesterday! I was also carrying my large Chanel vintage tote I have been using nonstop lately.

There are so many fun ways to sport overalls, and the key is to have fun with it. You can’t go wrong!
