Hi there!

I hope you had a fantastic Christmas if you celebrate it! I loved being back on the East Coast visiting family in Connecticut and friends in NYC. I’m now back on the West Coast and in that lull between Christmas and New Years when you don’t know what day it is! But one thing is for sure: you can still sparkle.

I wore this look in CT for Church and it’s so much fun to throw on some metallics at this time of year, but not just on this time of year. I’m wearing an oldie but goodie Zara pleated metallic skirt (they are still avail not just in Zara but I’ve seen versions at H&M, JCrew Banana Republic and more) with a Zara Chanel-esque tweed metallic moto jacket and JCrew ruffle sleeveless white blouse. My brown riding boots are Cole Haan and my pink velvet chain strap bow purse was a recent score from the Saks 5th Ave outlet! It’s by Rebecca Minkoff

Shine on, guys!

Hi there!

Have you been seeing the bodysuit trend and wondered how to style it? There are so many ways and it’s such a fun and easy look for Summer! I styled my Zara orange with fuscia polka dots bodysuit with a cutoff short and flip flops at the beach or nude wedges to walk around casually and my straw bag. It can also be dressed up with a high waisted pant and heels! To accentuate the fuscia polka dots I wore a fuscia earring and my hair up to keep it casual and fresh. In the above looks I was at Rockaway beach in NYC and the bottom look I was in Miami recently!

Have fun with this trend because I just love it!

Winter Florals 2 Ways

Hi there and Happy New Year!

My family and I celebrated the Holidays in CT and Paris, and I styled a new Zara floral dress with velvet bow and cuffs two different ways, in each place respectively. I love the darker hues with floral allowing for it to be worn in the winter with tights and not just as a dress for warmer months. I first styled it with black accented floral lace tights and my Sam Edelman blue platform wedges along with my vintage Chanel purse. My makeup (see below) was a new palette from Charlotte Tilbury called “Vintage Vamp” which has purples golds and berry tones that I love for winter!  I photographed this in my old bedroom since it is a girly almost doll-like look.

I wore the look again in Paris to see the Fortuny fashion exhibit at the Palais Galliera museum, only this time I added a velvet blazer and Zara studded strappy ballet flats to make it a little more edgy. I love these strappy studded flats because they are another great example of girly & rock and roll!

Florals can be worn in so many ways and they never go out of style. This dress has bows and ruffles so it’s quite girly but with the right accessories I love to give it a slight edge to go out.

Hi there!

Here I am in Paris recently visiting the artwork at the Petit Palais, and we chose to take pictures in the gorgeous courtyard because the light was delicious!

This look embodies a few of the trends I'm most excited about currently: embroidered Denim and an off the shoulder top. Both my jeans and top are from Zara (currently) and my fuscia suede lace-up sandals are Nine West outlet (they are called Ruby 4 You). I finished the look with my favorite Ray Ban sunnies and my Celine Luggage Tote crossbody bag.

This is an effortless chic summer look that can be worn day into night and was casual and stylish as well as comfortable to travel around Paris on a beautiful day last month! I would also style the top with a skirt and the embroidered Denim looks great with a more fitted top and jacket for a more polished look as well. If you wear a billowy top I recommend a tighter jean so you're not swallowed up by the clothes. It creates a sleeker line.

Hope you're enjoying your summer so far! More travel posts coming in the next few weeks with fun summer outfit inspiration that can also transition into fall!

Hi there!

Merry Christmas Eve and Happy first day of Chanukah everyone! In the spirit of the Holiday season I wanted to share my favorite holiday color combination: Gold and Black.

In the look above I styled my favorite Lauren by Ralph Lauren black blazer with gold RL crest over a Zara black turtleneck tucked into a Topshop gold sequin mini skirt. I finished the look with black tights and vintage black suede pumps, and my favorite gold python clutch from Coach. I also added a couple statement necklaces for some added sparkle!

Make sure you sparkle over this holiday season and ring in the New Year in style. I love an excuse to sparkle and shine and be festive. If you've been following along on my social media I've been snapping and Instagram story sharing some fun holiday moments and looks too.

Off the Shoulder Trending for Spring

Hi there!

One of my favorite trends this Spring is the off the shoulder trend. It looks effortless, bohemian, and sexy without trying too hard.  Exposing the shoulder is a subtle and elegant way of showing a little skin and feeling feminine in your clothes.

In the outfit pictured above I paired a baby blue off the shoulder top I recently bought at Zara with my older Zara pink moto jacket, Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply ripped boyfriend jeans, Valentino rock stud baby pink flats, and my new Balenciaga Mini City purse.  The long necklace is also an older piece from Free People that I just love.

Once again I decided to play with feminine touches mixed with a little edginess in the studs on the shoes and on my bag, the motorcycle jacket, and a ripped baggy boyfriend jean to offset the girly pastel colors and flowy off the shoulder top.

Francisco and I went to dinner at Sugar Factory in the Meat Packing district after our High Line stroll, and it was delicious.  I have a sweet tooth and that restaurant has the best drinks and dessert options.  We opted for the peanut butter and chocolate fondue! Later in the weekend I ventured to dinner and drinks with friends at Cata in the Lower East Side for my birthday as well as dinner at Spice Market on a separate night with my girlfriends I've known since I was in middle school who came into the city to visit.  Last weekend was the perfect birthday weekend and I really couldn't have asked for more!
