Hi there!

I recently completed a cross country road trip in my Volkswagen Beetle convertible coast edition with my big brother, and he was incredible! We traveled from the Connecticut shoreline to Los Angeles in 9 days making some really fun stops along the way.

This look was worn at the Grand Canyon, a two piece by Tobi called the “ Just Right Wide Leg Pants” and “Just Right Lace Up Top.” The set is on sale now too! The two piece trend is so fun, effortless and chic and can be dressed up or down too! I love how summery but transitional this set is, for a chillier end of summer or early fall day. I’m also really into the stripes trend currently. Vertical stripes have a great slimming effect and are very chic as well. I wore this set visiting the Grand Canyon on our road trip and I plan on wearing it in Miami for my work and play trip starting this weekend! I’ll post a pic of that below once I do ☺️

Hi there!

Wondering what to wear for the 4th of July? Americana is a look that never goes out of style, but for the 4th of July you know you want to look red-white-and-blue-chic! This Zara off the shoulder belted white and blue striped dress is right on trend. It’s preppy and figure-flattering and I styled it with a coral red cardigan (available now at the JCrew outlet) and coral red sandals, as well as a fun and festive tassel earring (we are seeing these everywhere and I love them and have them in different colors too).

A fun wedge or heel dresses up the look even more, and maybe a straw bag added would accentuate that Summer picnic or BBQ party!

Enjoy summer everyone :)

Hi there!

As promised in my last post, I wanted to share my favorite must have fall blazer/jacket with you: the velvet blazer. The one I styled above is vintage Gaminerie from Italy but they are absolutely everywhere this season! Velvet is popping up in jackets, dresses, tops, bags, and shoes. A sleek black velvet blazer like this one matches everything and ads style and a dressy element to any look.

My look above includes a Gap striped long sleeve top Polo Ralph Lauren jeans (that I cut and frayed myself to try out the cutoff trend), Chanel red patent leather ballet flats, and my new Rebecca Minkoff blush drawstring studded bucket bag. I threw my hair up for an Upper West Side weekend stroll with my boyfriend where we visited Strawberry Fields (one of my all time favorite NYC spots) got brunch and shopped then took this photo in front of the famous Dakota building. I felt very French chic in this look: put together but not trying too hard. The red lip was an afterthought but most of the day I wasn’t wearing it.  I think it’s very chic to have a casual look with a blazer and slightly messy hair :)

On a weekend getaway to my friend's PA lakehouse in my custom The Ave Los Angeles skull & rose chucks, new Express striped ruffle asymmetrical mini skirt,  Free People top, new Vigoss grey suede moto jacket by and my new YSL black medium Kate chain strap purse!

Hi there!

I think I've already spoken about how much I love this style aesthetic but to reiterate: girly meets rock and roll is my absolute fave! This fall we are seeing ruffles stripes and moto jackets everywhere so naturally I had to style the trends!

I styled my new Vigoss grey suede moto jacket (by from Nordstrom) with an older cream Free People top, and a new Express asymmetrical striped ruffled mini skirt. I finished the look with my custom chucks from a great store in Los Angeles, CA called The Ave. They are skull and rose Day of the Dead print with graffiti lettered "Lina" on one shoe tongue and "Ballerina" on the other. I love these high tops so much. I also wore my brand new Yves Saint Laurent black medium Kate chain strap bag that I'm just in love with. I love the black on black detail making this a classic yet edgy purse.

Now that it's cooling down a bit in New York it's fun to layer on the moto jacket and scarf or blazer. Next week I'll highlight the blazer must have for fall!
